Built circa 1841 as a summer home by John Cole, Heyward House is one of the few remaining antebellum residences to survive the Burning of Bluffton in 1863. After the Civil War, the Heyward family purchased the home. Today it is a house museum, welcome center, and headquarters for the Bluffton Historical Preservation Society.  Take a step back in time and visit this beautiful home.
