Patti Maurer (Choreographer and Productions) has the pleasure of choreographing for a multitude of organizations and schools in the greater Hilton Head area.  She  recently choreographed the sold-out production of Evita  for the Arts Center of Coastal Carolina. Since 2006 she has assisted with choreography and also performed in many past Arts Center productions including Mary Poppins, 9 to 5, Singing in the Rain, 42nd Street, Anything Goes!, How to Succeed in Business, The Drowsy Chaperone, Hello Dolly!, Hooray for Hollywood, My Fair Lady, The Producers, and A Chorus Line. Other choreography credits include Big Fish for the Southeastern Summer Theatre Institute, 13, and Schoolhouse Rock Live for the Main Street Youth Theatre, Little Mermaid, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Favorite Things Revue, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee,and Sound of Music for the Hilton Head Preparatory School, Sound of Music, Tarzan, Guys and Dolls, Beauty and the Beast, and Annie for the Hilton Head Christian Academy, Sounds of Plaid and her own original musical The Motown Bass for the Hilton Head Island High School. She started the dance department at the Hilton Head Island School for the Creative Arts and wrote six original productions including The Charleston  which was selected to perform at the internationally recognized Spoleto festival in 2009. Other notable choreography credits include Sea World's New Year's Rockin' Eve, NFL Association's Superbowl Kickoff Party, Innovations Dance Company, Picus Dance Company, MAD Dance Company, Burdine's Fashion Shows and Stage Eleven. 

 

She has a BFA in Dance and a BA in Psychology from the University of Colorado at Boulder and has performed throughout the United States, Korea, and Japan. She is the current Chair of the Arts & Cultural Council of Hilton Head, the past Executive Director and current Vice President of the Island School Council for the Arts. 

 

In her spare time, she co-produced Broadway's Tuck Everlasting,  was an associate producer for  the limited engagement of Les Liaisons Dangereuses, and a General Partner in the Alexis Funds with such hit shows as Come From Away, The Front Page, Hello Dolly!, Escape to Margaritaville, and Australia tours of The Book of Mormon, and Jersey Boys. She is General Producer of the Broadway-bound Little Dancer, premiering in Seattle March 22, 2019.
